Printing it yourself is the goal — this page is the fallback
OpenPoleMount is an open-source hardware project, not a business. The intended path is that you (or a maker friend) print a cradle yourself for free — see the v3 Print Guide (form-fitted pocket) or the v2 Print Guide (universal holder). This page exists only so people without access to a printer aren't left out. The price covers print-on-demand and shipping — it is not a profit.
Only v2 is available to order right now
v3 is the current recommended, more form-fitting design, and its print files are released — but print-on-demand isn't set up for it yet. The order below is for the v2 universal holder cradle — it's fully released and print-ready today.
If you don't have a 3D printer and can't find a maker nearby, you can have the IV Pole Cradle v2 (universal holder) printed on demand and shipped to you.
How it's printed
The order below is fulfilled through Teleport, the print-on-demand service from Slant 3D. They print the exact same open-source v2 files published on this site — there's no special or "official" version. The parts are printed in PLA to the production spec below, which exceeds the recommended minimums documented here.
